Even though it cannot restore full coloured vision, it helps people with colour blindness to distinguish colours a little better. But this was only the medical use of contact lens. In fact nowadays using a contact lens to change the colour of your eye has become a fashion. These lenses are commonly known as decorative contact lens. Nowadays it accounts only three percent of the total contact lens used in the world.
